Jollibee's Cheesy Bacon Mushroom + Hershey's Mix Ins = Perfect Combo! :D

I know this is not new to all of you since it's been months since Jollibee released their Cheesy Bacon Mushroom Champ! But let me just share you my experience with this giant.
I thought that it's just all in the picture. We (I'm sure I'm not the only one) who is a victim with a photo effects and advertising strategy of different food stops. But not this one!
Look at that gorgeous thingy? Oozing with cheese, and perfectly crisp bacon and delicious mushroom!
Even the innards of the burger is photogenic as well! The 1/3 pound 100% beef burger patty was cooked perfectly! Plus the gooey cheese made this burger irresistible. Who can resist that? Considering that it's just 129 pesos (Solo) or 165 pesos (Value Meal). It's sulit!
To add more happiness in our tummy, boyfie and I ordered their new offering as well, Jollibee Mix Ins (39 pesos)! This reminds me a lot of Dairy Queen's Ice Cream (Chocolate Chip flavor). Mixed with Chocolate Shavings, Cookie Bits plus Hershey's Kisses! Take note: this kisses is a real deal! I examined it thoroughly! hahahah!
NEW FAVORITE COMBO! :)

Movie Review: Thor (The Dark World)

Thor maybe one of the films that I'm looking forward in the cinema. Why? Who can't resist Thor anyway? HA! :p But to tell you honestly, I'm not even a fan of movies like that. I don't even watch Marvel movies. Don't get me wrong, but what I liked is Suspense/Horror, Comedy, or Chick Flick thingies. Only accidentaly when my Mom gave us a 2 movie ticket at Thor. So who am I to say no right? Then there goes the history.
What I liked most in the movie is the love team of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Jane (Natalie Portman). I got this "kilig" factor when Thor is jealous with Jane's officemate! nyahaha! And oh, who can forget Captain America's special appearance right? That's totally cool! Everyone in the cinema went gaga! :P

How about you? How do you find the movie? And the end part after the credits? Have you seen that one as well? Because we're almost outside the cinema when we rushed back inside. :P

Fall Off the Bone Goodness @ Rub Ribs & BBQ!

Rub Ribs and BBQ has been sitting on my "must try" list for a long time! We want to go there when we are completely hungry to have a good experience with the place.
Rub offers fall off the bone goodness ribs and other grilled favorites.
Truth as they say that the place was small and you have to be willing to wait to get a place. We waited more than an hour since we are on the waiting list. (Promise, it's worth the wait) Though my only wished is that they put a proper waiting area since it tends to be sunny during noon time :)
Not so fancy but rustic feel of their menu
Their Menu. Can you see how affordable their food was?
SUPER DUO (370 pesos) That's good for two! A huge slab of ribs that comes with 2 sidings of your choice.
A huge fork as a size comparisson.
Boyfie opted to have rice. They called it as "spiced rice" not spicy actually but the rice itself has tons of spices. I can clearly taste the itallian seasoning on this one. The serving size of their rice is small so you might wanna ask for extra rice like what boyfie did ;)
Bacon and Potato Salad - this one was just okay for me. Flavor wise, it's good, but it can be improved. And I appreciate it better if the slice will be smaller :)
But the main star is.............ten teneneeeen! The ribs! I must say, it actually blew us away. Considering that it's just 370 pesos for two person? It's definitely a hit! I don't know why other says it's not "that" fall off the bone, but what we had is literally fall out the bone. I can easily cut it with a work. Flavor wise, it's fantastic. Plus with thin fatty trimmings on side. heheh! :P

House Blend Iced Tea (110 pesos) Not a fancy one but it's quite refresing! Not just a powdered one but it has a hint of a real tea. :)

I really love discovering Hole in a Wall food stops, especially if it gives value to our money like this. Will surely visit their store again and try their other offerings! :)

Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) hits Philippines

November 06, 2013, The strongest typhoon in the Philippines
(Recorded as one of the strongest typhoon in the world as well) has entered the Philippine Area of responsibility.
As you can see in the weather update, the typhoon Yolanda with international name Haiyan covered the whole Philippines already. With the windspeed of 235 kph, the typhoon wiped out the entire place in Visayas area.

All of the areas were flattened. And it badly needs our help.

For those in the Philippines you can donate through the following:

And for those outside the Philippine area, you can extend your help with any of the following:

"In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all. And there was much weeping on the part of all; they embraced Paul and kissed him, being sorrowful most of all because of the word he had spoken, that they would not see his face again. And they accompanied him to the ship." - Acts 20:35-38

Catch up with my bestfriend @ Red Palace

Red Palace is probably one Chinese Restaurant that has good food, but don't amaze me for some reason.

 Peanuts as complimentary
Yang Chow - If I remember it right, their Yang Chow is good, especially the shrimps! :)
 Assorted Coldcuts
Was okay. Nothing to brag about, but the unusual here is they also serve Lengua (ox tongue) as part of their coldcuts. It was tenderly cooked. I'm also a sucker of seaweeds but I dont appreciate their version since it was really spicy.
 Dimsum
Ordered different kinds of dimsum but what stood out is their Siomai. Really flavorful and has plump and juicy shrimp inside! Nom!
Mixed Vegetables
Photo attached. It was good! Forgive me not to remember the veggies included but it's good. I'm not sure what's on the upper right corner that looks like a flower or watsoever. Hahah. I loved it! I believe its sorta kind of mushroom?

Their food is good, but no ooomph factor. But I'm still willing to try out their other food offerings :)

Try Eat: White Chocolate Mocha by Bo's Coffee

The greatest White Chocolate Mocha ever!

The first time I tried this one is when we're in Cebu and it was sooo good! And since it's our second try, I really hope that it will taste exactly as good way back! And yes! Luckily, they blended it the way i like! (Or even better!)
It was sooo creamy! Perfectly blended coffee to keep us awake for Insidious 2 movie. So creamy that it taste like ice cream. Sweet tooth foodie anyone? I'm sure this is worth a try!
5/5 star since we still have to wait for 2 hours for the movie, and their wifi is 1 is to 1 only. The crew gave us another access without batting an eyelashes. Kudos!

Serenitea's Christmas Drink!

SERENITEA'S HOLIDAY DRINK!

Chaffe Mocha Frost
Cocoa Frost with Nutella
Cocoa Cookies and Cream

Boyfie ordered the Cocoa Frost With Nutella and I ordered the Cocoa Cookies and Cream. I guess they're still unfamiliar with the drink coz guess what? We've waited for 20 minutes for our drink. To think that they have codigo on their wall. 128557 And I'm almost late already.  Upon sipping my drink, it was reaaaally good! Taste of Ice Cream, with Pudding (as my sinker) with cookie bits, Cocoa, and hmmmmm. Wait!!! Why it taste like Nutella? *Not complaining here* It's Nutella anyway.
But!!!! When boyfie taste his drink, it tastes like water with hint of chocolate. I guess they mixed and match our orders. So when I told them that there's no hint of Nutella, they get the drink and they will just put Nutella while doing some make face on me! What the??? It's not even my fault if you mix and match our drink because you're still unfamiliar with the ingredients.
I really adore their Christmas Character.

Well, they fix our drink naman, but I just really dont want their reaction even when they're giving the drink to me. Nakasimangot sila swear. Urghhh. Anyway, the drinks was good. Only the poor service I've got is the down side. But nevertheless, I will surely try this but not on this branch. :(

Honey Comb Crunch Cake @ Purple Oven!

WALANJA, PURPLE OVEN NA NAMAN? Hahaha! But please LOOK AT THE PICTURE FIRST! Sorry guys, I was really planning to buy two different cakes (c/o the suggestions I've received) but then, we're on the way, knowing my Dad, that doesn't want a long drive, he told me just to buy at Puple Oven.

Since My Dad is not a fan of sweets, I just asked for the Honey Comb Crunch Cake (650 pesos) I loved how they presented their Cake. It was plain as white but elegantly decorated.
Second, they will give you a Honeycomb candy --included already. a.k.a Tira Tira candy during childhood days! Hahaha! I just put half of it, then papak the remaining! Nyahah!
Third: It's up to you on how you will decorate it to your cake! As for us, I semi crushed the honey comb, then put little chunks inbetween! Nom!
How is it? My Dad loves it even He's not fan of sweets! The chiffon cake is the softest chiffon ever! It has a light white icing all over that will not give you the umay factor. Inbetween is a light cream filling with bits of honeycomb.
If you're a fan of not so sweet cake, then you will love this. I think I was destined to try all of Purple Oven Cakes! :)
