Breakfast at The Brae Restaurant in Infinity Resort

Included in our stay is breakfast in Infinity Resort's restaurant, The Brae.
Originally, just like in other restaurant they offer Buffet for breakfast.
But if there's a small number of guest during that day (like our visit) the guest will have set meals.
The resort's restaurant is equally beautiful. The free flowing of air plus the wooden posh designs.
There's two types of breakfast to choose from.
Tadahh!! I opted for American and boyfie had Filipino fare.
 Kaiser Roll and Toast Bread
 Fresh Fruits
 American Breakfast
Filipino Breakfast (the tapa was a bit tough and dry)

Over all, the foods can be improved. But nevertheless, it's really filling!
Check out my other post about Infinity Resort here.

Luca Cucina Italiana at Talipanan Beach in Puerto Galera

If ever you're planning to stay in Talipanan Resort, it's impossible for you not to see Luca Cucina Italiana from web.
Well, aside that the beach has only less than ten resort/food stops, it's a must for you to visit Luca.
A lot of tourists will go all the way from White Beach just to visit.
It's not a fancy type, I'm telling you. But it's really worth the visit and the raves from the internet! It's a restaurant owned by an Italian named "Luca" (duh) who serves authentic Italian cuisine! He's the bulky guy with curly hair, and what's so cool about that is he speaks tagalog fluently. Really cute! :)
With this magnificent view too! You should remember that Luca's serving size is humungous!
Capricciosa (390 pesos) - Pizza made up of Tomato, Mozarella, Mushroom, Ham and Onion on a freshly made dough. You may noticed that the price is a "bit" steep but their serving size is good for 4 persons! (Pinky promise!)
Pesto Alla Genovese (280 pesos) - One of the nicest pesto I had. Creamy, Cheesy,
with perfect bits of nuts. I've tasted different versions of pesto but their pesto is just divine!
Make sure to try their fruit shakes!
As much as we would like to try different dishes, we simply can't since we're just two! We even had a take out!

Here's Luca's Menu

Then that night, we went to White Beach to try the "Paluto" dishes. Nothing beats perfectly cooked seafood by the beach with the funny gay performers on the side. Kudos to them! Perfect way to end our night! :)

Movie Review: Miracle in Cell number 7

A couple of months ago, I was flooded by my friends in Facebook having almost the same status.
"NW: Miracle in Cell number 7" then followed by crying emoticons and tons of sobs and huhuhus. I got curious, as in really curious! Then I immediately checked youtube for some trailers and it got my attention as well.
Miracle in Cell No. 7 was a Korean Film that tells about the value of family, friendship and justice. This movie pretty much reminded me of I am Sam. (Ring a bell?). A single father named Yong Goo (Ryu Seung-Ryong) who was sent to prison because of a murder case. But the question is, who will take care of his daughter Ye-Seung (So Won Kal (Child) | Shin-Hye Park (Adult) )? A drama/comedy film that made me cry hard while watching. The father was really good in portraying his role, as well as the super adorable little girl. You can't resist her cuteness! :)
It's a perfect tear jerker movie for family! Make sure to watch this film, you won't regret. :)

Malasimbo Premier at Infinity Resort

I've shared with you my dearest reader our celebration we had for our 9th Anniversary Celebration at Infinity Resort in Puerto Galera (See here). Now, let me show you our room for the past days we stayed in the resort. The resort has different rooms to choose from. Depending on your needs, or the number of person who will be staying.

Different rooms in Infinity Resort
(Image from their website)
 Deluxe Room
 Executive Room
 Premier Suite
 Malasimbo Premier

I am torn choosing between the Premier Suite and the Malasimbo Premier. But boyfie suggested that we should choose the Malasimbo Premier since we'll not be needing the kitchen that the Premier Suite has since we'll be eating at their restaurant. Good move! And not only that, one reason why we choose the Malasimbo Premier is to experience their Hydrojet Tub! :D
Malasimbo Premier room is located in the second floor of the newly built Malasimbo Spa.
Every corner of this resort is truly a masterpiece.
Just like the other sides of the resort, I really adore the vibe of the place.
Especially the combination of different kinds of stylish woods.
As I mentioned, they also have fish spa that you can avail for just 200 pesos. It's really tickling! :P
Or better yet, you can try the services offered in their spa.
For health buffs out there, there's a small but fully operation gym facilities
So here is the Malasimbo Premier Room. It may seemed like a small room because of this shot, but it's really huge! Compared to other accommodation rooms we had, this is the biggest room ever. Imagine a regular hotel room, it's like 3 times of the size!
Everything you need is already there! (I suggest to fix the wiring in the TV since it looks messy)
Beside the bed is this spacious living room-like space with comfy couches.
With this chandelier too!
But my favorite in our room? This very elegant mirror on the wall! Look at those details!
Pag harap mo palang, maganda ka na! haha! :))
The comfort room was equally elegant as well. The posh tiles on the wall, complete toiletries, and guess what?
The water in Infinity Resort is purified and ready to drink!
The toilet bowl is separately placed right beside. I loved it since the shower room
was spacious enough to move around while taking a bath.
But there's only one thing that missed on our wonderful stay in Infinity Resort. Remember the reason why we choose the Malasimbo Premier? The main reason would be the Hydrojet Tub. It's not ordinary bathtub! And we're so excited to try that! After we filled the tub with water, we were informed that it's not YET working. WHAAAAT?? They said that the one who is supposed to set it up is in Manila. DARN! You don't know how pissed I am that time! We're from Manila as well, and to be exact in Rizal! Besides, we paid one month in advance for this, so why don't they fix it ahead of time?
I really won't accept that excuse. >:|
Still overall, we enjoyed our stay. But only if I knew that the Hydrojet is still not working,
we should've reserved for different room instead.

9th Anniversary Celebration at Infinity Resort in Puerto Galera! :)

Last June 30, boyfie and I celebrated our 9th Anniversary together! We started out as a barkada, then close friends, and there goes the history when we're still on our Junior Year High School (hahah!) But look at us now! God really blessed us with each other all throughout these years until Infinity! :)
We celebrated our 9th Anniversary at Infinity Resort in Puerto Galera. Some might not be familiar that this place ever existed since this only luxurious resort in Puerto Galera has been around for just one year. Unlike last year, where we celebrated our 8th Anniversary Celebration in Amorita Resort in Bohol, We decided to celebrate near Manila since boyfie is still recovering from his operation.
And Infinity Resort is the perfect place for us to celebrate our Anniversary! You may notice that some designs were pretty much like Acuatico Resort in Batangas since I've heard that they have the same Architect.
But I must admit, Infinity Resort was way way stunning. The picture speaks to itself.
Especially the 400 sqm infinity pool! The place was really divine!
Definitely the main attraction of the resort is the pool. Especially when the fountain was turned ON.
The Malasimbo Mountain behind the resort makes you want to stay in this place forever.
The entire place was really huge. There is a part of the resort that is still under construction, their Helipad! Cool Huh?
I never appreciate woods until I saw this place. Every piece was selected carefully!
Even the chandelier too!
The wood combination gives the place a rustic yet elegant look.
The Filipino owner surely loves different kinds of woods! ---Yes, this place is owned by a Filipino. :)
The Brae where they can serve you the cuisine that you want. From Continental, Asian and Filipino fares.
Pathway going to the pool.
Malasimbo Spa. Aside from the usual rooms, they have this newly built room located in the Malasimbo Spa.They offer male and female treatment rooms with sauna, Hydrojet Jacuzzi, bathtub, shower rooms, and a separate treatment room exclusively for spa mani-pedi and foot therapy.
The first and only fish spa in Puerto Galera.

One of my favorite in Infinity Resort was the facilities. Originally, the equipments can be used for 1 hour per person,
but since we're the ONLY GUEST during that time, imagine how happy we are!
Billiards | Soccer Table | Darts
But my favorite part was the Videoke Room! HUHUHU! I am really glad that they have Videoke Room! Not all resort has this facility. Some may have but with a minimum charge. But here in Infinity Resort, it's all for free! And again since we're the only guest that time, it's UNLIMITED! wohooo! :)
Aside from these facilities are different board games. Snake and Ladders, Domino, Scrabble, Word Factory, Monopoly and lots more! My fave of all? This native game "sungka". Ohhhh how I love playing this game when I was a kid!

So let me share you their breathtaking surrounding! :)
Infinity Pool facing the Malasimbo Mountain
Another shot of their Infinity Pool while the fountain is turned ON. What I also loved with Infinity is that, when you request them to turn it ON for you, they will turn it ON anytime you want. They're not "madamot" like the usual resorts out there that there's a schedule. haha! I really love their service. They are always on smile and warm to their guest.
Did I mention that they have their Jacuzzi too? Perfect stress buster! Can we stay here forever? :(
Not only that it's Instagram worthy shots, but these sun loungers is perfect for those who loves to get
some tan and enjoy the magnificent view of the beach plus the calm waves.
So here's my selfie with the pool. I forgot to mention that from all the pools I've tried, Infinity Resort is my favorite! Why? The pool is just 5 feet! Perfect for 5'1 like me! HAHAHAH! :)) Ahhhhhhh. My new favorite place! :)
Though boyfie and I had a one missed moment in Infinity Resort with our room which is the Malasimbo Premier (Will post another entry for that), Overall we really had a great time! Exceptional Place, Impressive Service, Near Manila.
What more can I asked for? :)

Tetadventurer Tips:
  • Infinity Resort is located at the most peaceful beach in Puerto Galera which is the Talipanan Beach.
  • There's nothing pretty much to dine in Talipanan except for Luca. The authentic Italian restaurant which was really popular with the tourist (will put separate review)
  •  If you're looking for a place to relax, then go for Talipanan Beach (If not, then better go to White Beach)
  • There's no direct boat going to Talipanan Beach except for Galerian Shipping Lines. But only to found out that they are open every weekends only. Good thing there's Manolo Shipping Lines. Though they don't have direct trip going to Talipanan they offer free shuttle service from White Beach going to Talipanan. (It's around 30 minutes travel)
  • Make sure you have cash on hand. Our bad is we rely on ATM. But there's only around 5 ATM in Puerto Galera according to the locals. We searched from Talipanan to White Beach but everything was offline. Good thing there's one ATM working in Sabang Beach (farthest area in Puerto). If not, your last resort would be Smart Padala which we noticed everywhere.
  • ENJOY! :)
